Santro Xing: Cabin Light and Audio System Fuse Blow Out

Encountered a weird problem yesterday night, had blown out fuse for cabin light and audio system. I just parked my car with engine and music on and within seconds fuse for audio system and cabin light went off.

As my car was scheduled for periodic service today, service manager checked wiring and replaced the fuse. He could not find any short circuit or broken or worn out wire for both audio system and cabin light.

Again today evening while is was putting things back in car post service again fuse to both cabin light and audio system blew off .

Kindly note: this time Engine was ON, Audio system was ON and Cabin light was ON,
Cabin light Stock bulb has been replaced with LED one and half year back since then never had any such problem.

Maybe there might be a problem with your car's wiring. Get it checked thoroughly.

Got complete wiring check up couldn't find any error or blackening of wire.

Finally found some carbon around Cabin Light LED. Connected same to external source device and fuse blew away. So culprit was LED which was malfunctioning, so now cabin light replace by stock light
