dear ilangop and tsivipul,
reviving this a-bit-old thread. now you are going to go mad at me. recently i read and heard about the New Ducati 959 panigale on tv and on the net.
Now this bikes engine produces 157hp at 10500rpm, and torque at 9000rpm. Ducati uses 3.8 liters of 15w40 engine oil for their twin cylinder 955cc superbike. is this not a really high-speed engine compared to our scoots.
Now ducati says they have spread the service and oil changes to 12000kms and on models such as the desmo, the service is not needed until 30000kms. This is what i am talking about , a service at 10000kms/ 1 year for our bikes and scoots in India. A link has been attache herewith. do read it and pls reply. Service and maintenance motorcycle | Ducati Ducati
the second link shows the tech specs of the panigale wherein in the last few lines it is specified that the service interval is 12000kms.
Now you should be able to understand my point.
pls dont get mad at me.
