Hello. Any opel Astra 1.6 users here. My engine is fuel type is single point fuel injection. I always wanted to convert into mpfi because SPFI consumes lots of fuel.
one day luckily I saw an accident opel Astra. and to my surprise the engine was mpfi. I ask the owner to sell me the engine head side, after having some discussion he finally agreed. I paid only 4500
1. mpfi carburetors
2. wiring set to ecm box
3. ecm box
4. front left shocker
I should say I got like free from what I always dreamed of.
after buying I went home and fitted it. but finds missing and the exhaust sound is very loud, louder than previous SPFI.
I change the MCU, AIR SENSORS, Etc. took from old SPFI to MPFI.
I even clean n check the fuel injectors each four injectors and even start without fitting in the engine to make sure whether the fuel are passing but it's passing well.
I AM DOUBTING AIR INTAKE TO ENGINE IS LESS. after high acceleration pick up comes.
Somebody please comment if you know anything about it.
