Hello Guys,
One of my cousin owns a 05 Skoda Octavia 1.9TDi Rider model. He just called me to inquire about an issue regarding his Octavia.
His Octavia is having pick up issues since this morning. He says the RPM is working fine but the car does not want to move as quickly as the rpm goes. It's very sluggish and takes a while after it crosses 40kmph to even reach 70-80 kmph. It is going to 100-110 kmph but takes a long time to reach that figure. Overtaking another vehicle is just, barely possible for him right now.
He got the air filter checked and even got it cleaned by his known mechanic. He thought maybe an issue with the Turbo but the mechanic said Turbo is good.
So what may be the cause of this issue? I guess may be the MAF sensor is the culprit.
