Hi all,

This is my first post (after the intro post). I have a 2003 m800 and I am having a problem with the centering of the steering wheel. It is offset to the left by a few centimeters. It is not a problem to drive at all, and was in that state when I bought it used about years ago. I am just irritated with it and want to get it rectified.

I spoke to a wheel alignment guy and he said that all m800's have this problem. I didn't think so, but I am not sure of that. I have posted a picture of this below and I really want help in centering it if possible.

Cheers!

Re: M800 Steering Wheel Centering

The image is attached now.

The centering is "un"centered towards left like when the wheel is turned left for a left turn. The wheel is parallel to the dashboard and the column is perpendicular to the dashboard too, so that is not a problem, but this left-turned centering along the axis is getting me irritated to no end.

Re: M800 Steering Wheel Centering

This can be corrected by adjusting the Steering Tie-rods (the one used to adjust the Toe setting) Do check with other wheel alignment centre / mechanic
