ECU is located behind the glove box in swift. Please go through the user manual that came with your car, you will get a better idea of "what is what". Knowing the location of fuse box etc is a must as it will help you in long rides etc for minor fixes which you can do yourself. (May be you already know, I assumed as you asked about battery terminal location. I wonder how you don't know this owning a WagonR before
You can apply Vaseline to battery terminals, but stay away from grease for this purpose.
From your queries in this thread (I am not judging you driving in anyway) I suggest you to stay away from performance modifications for the time being. Drive your car more (After few nuptial trips, she will open up to you and start loving you more
) escalate the issues you are facing to MASS in time. If they are not getting it solved, try another MASS. Its not possible that there are a lot of major issues for such a successful car, so IMO
most of the issues might be with the usage (I may be wrong). I don't know why people are suggesting aftermarket ECUs and FFE with custom headers for a Dec'14 car!. No harm in going for a K&N stock replacement panel fit filters, you will get some added acceleration, you will feel the difference while overtaking others. (You can put back the OE filters anytime, if someone talk about the warranty) But a change in your gear shift points may give you the advantages near to a 5K K&N filter.
