Hello guys,

The clutch of my Chevrolet Beat TCDi has some play (when it is pulled upwards it comes up about 1-1.5 inches). How do I sort out yet another problem?
Does this mean the clutch slips? Quite possible since it is about 34000 Kms. old, hence the spring on the clutch (I assume there is a spring there) could have loosened and messed up...everything.

I will be taking it to the mech when my father gets the time (Bloody union matters [frustration])

Mods: Kindly merge if anything else like this exists.

Please reply.
Thanks!

Re: Clutch remains slightly depressed!

Does your car have a cable- or hydraulically- operated clutch?

But yes, this probably implies you are getting some clutch slip, which can damage the disc.

Sorry sir, really do not know about this. I think it should be a cable operated, though I'm just guessing. And probably will take it to the mechanic today, my father is coming to take the test drive of Polo while we can do something else too [evil]

Thanks!
