At least change the exhaust pipe. The stock pipe will look odd with Cafe Racer seat and style. |

| Re: OMG! 3rd RX at Home - 1998 Yamaha RX135 4S Opened the engine last evening to check the condition.
Engine:
- Running with 2OS piston
- Little shake in the connecting rod
- No major wear & tear
- All oil seals are perfect
- Should do a compression test to decide if I should go for re-boring
Clutch:
- Clutch plate is lifeless (known)
- Primary drive & clutch bell is intact
Magneto:
- Looks stock (no sign of rewinding) |

| Re: OMG! 3rd RX at Home - 1998 Yamaha RX135 4S Bharath, except you everybody forgot? I will never forget Mr.Boss' Threads esp. His RX threads.
I am always a fan of his restoration jobs and even though there are many restorations done at other forums by other members, Mr.Boss' Restorations have conquered a special place in my heart and brain. His restorations are always top notch. He wants everything to be "100% Perfect" and not doing things yeno thano. Everytime I see his restored bike(s), it looks like it has rolled out of the factory/showroom fresh.
@Mr.Boss
So, Christmas holidays began! I got prepared to excite by seeing your restoration. Will have your restoration thread as my Christmas gift!!!!! |

| Re: OMG! 3rd RX at Home - 1998 Yamaha RX135 4S @Bharath & RVSB: Glad to see your eagerness.
As of now I'm enjoying the winter vacation at my hometown with some travel plans as well.
This bike modification will be mostly DIY, so waiting for the end of this fiscal year so that I can have enough time to spend with it. |

| Re: OMG! 3rd RX at Home - 1998 Yamaha RX135 4S DIY?
I assume you have the required materials/tools to do modifications.
For Cafe' Racer, you may try HH Splendor Classic's RVMs and RE Continental GT's Tank and Seats (or a replica of Continental GT's Tank and seats). I don't think there are people who make replica. I am referring replica like Doc's Supra Power-up's tail section that he made in steel which is originally fiber plastic. |

| Re: OMG! 3rd RX at Home - 1998 Yamaha RX135 4S I don't think Mr.Boss will do that much huge mods. Just Cafe' Racer style (and maybe a vintage type paint too!). |
