Hi, I've been in the used car market looking for a 2007-'09 Safari Dicor 2.2 and many people advised to go for the old 3.0l one or the updated 2010 version. Primary reason being the timing belt snapping frequently due to a faulty design by Tata. Is this true and how bad I need to be worried about it in long drives? Can we rectify this by retrofitting from old 3l dicor or newer Safari's. Does the 2010 revised variant actually found a solution to this problem? Can anyone shed some light on this?
