Hello everybody, Today when i was cleaning my engine bay, i opened my oil filler cap of esteem, i happen to see carbon deposits on the cam as well as the walls of the cover, Then i started the car, How much time should the oil take to come to the cam cause, I think it took about more than 20+ seconds for the oil to come fully to the cam.. do you think i need to worry or could the oil pump be covered in carbon,

This is a used esteem that i brought last Month, though the kilometers are 47000km but i doubt it is a 2001 dec esteem 3owners.

I have recently changed the oil, and the oil was very dirty,

The vehicle drives very well and shows no signs of any problem,

And one more thing where is the petrol filter on the esteem.

Dont worry. Just do an Engine flush next time you change your engine oil.

though I own Esteem, i have no idea about where is the petrol filter[:)]
