| | Re: Tata Safari Left Me Stranded. Now a Hat-Trick!
Had a similar problem with my tata safari. In my case the timing belt broke at 23588km . I am really shocked. I have hardy driven the vehicle in the last 2 and a half years since I bought it. Unfortunately my extended warranty does not show up on the system. I never got the documents though I paid for it when I bought the vehicle. I just have the deivery checklist which shows that the extended warranty papers are pending.
I got stranded in a similar fashion at night on 25th April. By the time the tow was done it was 2:10 am. The concorde worshop at kochi has given an estimate of 36000. My wife and I have wasted more than 6 hours spread across 30 to 40 calls to Tata customer care. Their response has been so far pathetic to say the least. Need help.
