Odd Smell in Mahindra XUV500's Cabin

I am getting this odd smell in the cabin while driving.
I first thought it was from the heater but now I only use the aircon. It smells like a kind of heat odour. The smell is not from out side as it is the same smell every time. Maybe coming from the engine bay. This happen randomly.
Is this a common problem?
Is there a solution?

Brother better is you show it the a.s.s and check with them . They can diagnose and help you . How old is your xuv ?

is it come when you drive car for short distances?
if no then there is chances that some of the seal used for wires to pass to engine cabin from passenger cabin will loosen or open up due to some issue, that's why you smell heat from the engine. i suggest to contact a.s.s & they resolve issue.

That's wierd
Seems like its sucking air from engine bay ,could be a leak . Better go and see the dealer

IMO something might struck inside engine cabin or some food stuff might dropped in full mat.
