Hello ! I have removed my 4 years santro xing's dashboard, steering and ac'evaporator for sound deadening firewall.I released ac gas in air, removed evaporator and left hoses connecting evaporator unattended and uncapped for a month. Due to health problems i didnt refit evaporator and left hoses unattended and uncapped for a month. Please help me does leaving hoses uncapped lead to any dust formation in ac lines and compressor or does it lead to any problems? Ididnt see any oil leakage through hoses till now, should i refill compressor oil while refilling refrigerent? please answer me. Thanks in advance

Re: Help needed: Hyundai Santro AC

Dear seenu4490, welcome to The Automotive India!

If the car was not parked in open, dusty conditions, I am sure the hoses would be largely free of dust. Get them air blown, though before you refit them. Also get the compressor oil checked and top up/replace if it is low.

Regards,
Sam
