Re: skoda octavia Glow plug blink problem

Need to replace the the glow plug.
There won't be any issue in normal starting.
But it could create a problem during a cold start in a cold day.

Re: skoda octavia Glow plug blink problem

do you know the cost of Glow plug?
There is one glow plug per cylinder. So there are four of them in a 4 cylinder engine. Need to check how many of them gone kaput and replace only those which has gone kaput.
Don't know about the price charged by Skoda. For Tata Manza, it is Rs 700 for one glow plug.

The glow plug light blinking indicates there's a fault in the car and it needs to be scanned. Most probably the scan will show you have a faulty brake switch.
