I checked with a SA. On the sound reduction, he doesn't have any communication from Toyota on how to fit this in an older model. I forgot to ask him about the hydraulic mounts for the engine which will also help in noise reduction.
I also inquired on the bumper which is more sturdy now. It seems apart from the clips, the moulding has also changed, which means that the entire bumper has to be replaced to get the improvements.
