In our city there's some guy who has this VIP number (and in Marathi): 2157 and twisted the letters in such a fashion that it reads Raje! That might not be that bad, most Hindi/Marathi guys will be able to read and remember it correctly. But others will be dumbfounded.
There are many of such guys:
010 (DIO, on a Honda Dio)
8055 (Boss, mostly on SUVs)
8484 (Baba, again on cream white SUVs)
0070 ("My name is Bond!" Just kidding)
Rest you have mentioned (Dada, Aai etc)
And there are some other guys true to their mother tongue who will not get any English reg plates. Earlier they used to write Ma. Ha. ... but lately I've been witnessing a unique breed who write it like Em Ech ... in Devnagri script. Idiots
There should be some regulation about registration plates.
