Those vehicles essentialy will have two sets (yes..literally 4 no.s) of roots megasonic chrome horns fitted to the crappy looking chrome bull bar. With that they will simply honk the hell out and push almost all the vehicles out of the road. No wonder because most of these vehicles are owned and driven by illiterates.
Also it puts me off whenever i see some cheap unprofessionally done LED strips running everwhere around the car. No exceptions, i have even seen this shoddy job done even in a million rupee sedan in Madurai last night. | That reminds me of an Innova which I spotted at Bangalore with TN registration. It had 2 big foglamps on front bumper, another 2 on the roof, 2 fixed loudspeakers on the roof & all bling bling LED's. But it had a VIP number! |

| re: Things You Can Do Only On Indian Roads! @350Z The cow problem seems to have actually gotten worse over time in my area! I remember around 5 years ago the government had done something and there wasn't a single cow on the road, but now they are absolutely everywhere! Nobody seems to give a damn about how dangerous they can actually be.
I'm not exaggerating, countless times I nearly get into an accident with other road users or pedestrians while trying to avoid some bovine camped out on the road. I narrowly avoided hitting a motorcyclist (Who was without a helmet btw) just a few days ago! |

People act like plastic wrappers are radioactive waste and that they would die if they were just to hold onto it for a short while and dispose of it properly when they reach a rest stop or their destination. Littering is simply the most pathetic, uncivilized and inexcusable act on the roads. |

These bottles fly anywhere due to their less weight and their are high chances of it hitting the cars or coming under their way. |

Usually what I do is just carry some form of backpack and reserve one of its pockets for stowing the packaging to dispose of at my destination. |

| re: Things You Can Do Only On Indian Roads! Always when I go on long drive I always have a small carry bag with me in my car. I use them to dispose off unwanted items and clean it at destination. Infact this habbit is with all my family memebers since ages. |

[Video] | This is nice, as far as I know in Delhi we have recycling for Paper and Plastic, but it's not nearly as sophisticated as the system in Bangalore. We don't have a composting system either.
Maybe newspapers should stop wasting their time finding out what colour underwear celebrities are wearing and actually try to incite some positive programs like this one. |

| re: Things You Can Do Only On Indian Roads! Today & yesterday found two things on road. I am sure it happens only in India.
Yesterday.
Two guys were going in two wheeler without helmet. He suddenly moved to right just giving a little space to the car behind. Then the things started. The guy who was driving the car was a mechanic (local guy) and he went and hit the bike. The biker some how managed the balance and did not fall. He actually did not know what has happened. Bike guys carried on as if nothing happened but the car guy was not leaving them. He went ahead and made them move out of roads, got out from car and started shouting at those two wheeler guy. That was continuing for sometime and then the beating started. I did not have time and left the place with 'What the ___' !
Today.
A Tata Nano KA51 ME with a Tech Mahindra sticker on back. That carried a big sticker on the glass in RED color. "PLEASE FOLLOW TRAFFIC RULES". I was so happy to see the car and thought of showing 'thumbs up' to the guy who was driving it. He was talking on the PHONE ! I went and told him 'first you follow and then ask others to follow'. He raised up the window and continued speaking on phone. Met in signal. I knocked his window and he did not even look at me (in between he kept the phone down).
Where else this can happen except INDIA !
