Armed robbers allegedly robbed an Audi Q7 car after abducting the driver of former Additional Solicitor General of India Vikas Singh from the posh South Extension in the early hours of Sunday.
Purchased only three months ago, the SUV belongs to Mr. Singh’s son Venkatesh, who is an advocate practicing in the Supreme Court. At the time of filing this report, the police said they did not have any substantial clues about the robbers or the whereabouts of the vehicle.
The incident took place in the South Extension market while the car owner and his friends were on a visit to a restaurant for dinner.
