On 12th Feb 2013 I did my 3rd and final Free service at Navnit Motors. Details
:- ODD Reading :- 10168 kms .
Complaints and solution
1> Rear row had some issues while folding it :- it was resolve by greasing all joints and bolts of rear seat .
2> P.U.C. :- the PUC machine wasnt working that day so no PUC tests were performed .
3> Brake Tests :- a full brake test was performed but there is'nt any issues as per SVC.
4> OIL and OIL FILTER Changed
:- Am bit confused regarding Oil types and its drain intervals . There are 2 types of diesel oils are available at SVC and both has same Drain intervals (10000kms) Please suggest me what should i do . As of now i've opted for MG oil .
i) I was quoted 4000Rs. for 3100ml of Mobil 1 Synthetic 0W40 Engine Oil and was told by SA that oil needs to be replace at 10000kms .
ii) Its a 15w40 grade Engine oil
which is supplied by Maruti itself . and Quote was only 1200RS . for 3100ml
, it has same Drain intervals (10k) as per SA.
Since the ii) Options was super cheap I decided to opt for 15w40 MG oil and cut short the drain interval to 5000kms instead of 10000kms . By doing this engine will get Fresh Oil every 5k kms and yet its economical than Mobil1 (1200X2 = 2400Rs for 10k kms and Mobil1 is 4000Rs for 10k kms)
I've 2nd option to opt for Mobil1 and replace engine oil at every 10000kms .
Experts please suggest me which option is should prefer . I personally think 1st option is good as car will get fresh oil at every 5k kms .
Plus few other things were performed like adding window washer liquid and adding distilled water into battery . TOTAL COST :- 1545Rs
. Including Oil and Oilfilter change
It took almost 4 hours to complete the service and additional 1hr for washing and all . I will give Navnit Motors a 10/10 marks as when i requested to be present at Service bay during Oil change the Mech and SA's were happy to help me .
