red is a non metallic color
some H! dealers have followed the old gay route of maruti and charging extra for metallic colors which i find pretty lame.
for me i always wanted red so never bothered about metallic / non metallic.
wrt seat covers etc , its better to get them installed as after market since the dealers keep a hefty margin. None of these are genuine Honda items, the dealers procure themselves and sell at a huge margin. This was told to me by a service engineer.
being from delhi and having driven through severe winters, i never had issues with the rear window getting fogged /condensation so i find this new feature a waste. H! should have worked out a rear wiper which i feel is a necessity in monsoons and incase you find yours on semi built highways/flyovers. Seat adjustment is a nice addition i must add.
i would be completing one year in July and have started receiving sms from H! for the service. I like these guys the way they pamper you and keep reminding you to take out time for the service.
and its better to negotiate with them for the insurance. Do not try saving a few bucks here and there, its better to stick with them for atleast the initial 2 years when your car is under warranty. I have extended warranty for 3 more years ( 5 years in total) so everything is covered.
p.s i finally crossed 4000 kms yesterday
