Anyways, I really wonder why FI tech on motorcycles has not become as reliable a system as that on cars.
Maybe you could share some DIYs as suggested in the workshop here on the forum. Also, how about supplementing the same with CD screenshots? Let's make this thread a Bible for Duke owners.
So let's start with psalm jalex 1:1
Well there's one thing though, A simple ECU remap or update can provide more output. (I too like old school better still.) Heard Race Dynamics of Bangalore is coming up with a piggy back ECU. Might cost Rs.15,000 but the power output will increase to 28+ Bhp! There might also be 5 different maps to play with that can be set at will.
The DIY is about small things like Air filter cleaning, Oil change, Drive chain adjustments, Radiator Coolant change and so on. Not too exciting for me, I used to do most of the work on my race bikes by myself, only used to get things like porting, re-bores, Welds, etc. outside. Well I'll share the DIY file here. Please see the attached file at the bottom of this post.

First, after i changed the fuel from super unleaded to unleaded i noticed a potential increase in the throttle response but when i lower speeds i try to accelerate some kind of khat khat noise is heard from the gear box. Is this serious problem?
Secondly, Is the complete tellis frame painted orange or only the visible sides? And what was the cost to paint it?
Thirdly, Will you be attending the orange day in bangalore?
Are you sure the sound is coming from the gear box? It can be the drive chain. Double check.
I'm not very sure about the Trellis painting and costs, Will inquire and let you know. But the area around it was masked to get it done anyways. They should have sprayed paint on the insides too probably, else the insides of the Trellis would look unfinished and its visible at certain angles when done in Orange especially.
No I wasn't there for the Orange Day, Was held up with things and there was no chance of me making it there hence.

I was so curious from day 1 since I read DIY !
Think you need to get Duked
And believe me, you'll get addicted no matter how sober you might be. I rarely use the car these days. Its been parked for more than a week now. Back with the story..
The bike's doing good except for some issue that's developed recently.
1: The drive chain has been developing excessive slack very soon after adjustment. Like after 250-300Kms of riding. If you rip it, It develops slack even earlier. The Chain slider rubber(Its a small piece of rubber/damper stuck under the swing arm to prevent chain noise and is in almost constant contact with the chain.
) has gone bust as a result.
I've brought this before the ASC's notice and they have ordered for some 20 pieces of chain slider rubber as mine is not the only case here. I know at least 8 people here in Kerala who have the same issue on their Dukes. I'll be visiting the ASC as soon as they get the replacements in stock and they'll be looking into it.
2: There's a minor petrol leak under the tank, Its coming out through the gasket that fits between the tank and fuel pump area. Its like one or two drops in 24 Hours time and there's the stench of petrol when you are near the bike.
I've also started to get some gear as my old ones are all worn out and useless now.
