Got the Arm Rest installed.. had to remove both the front seats to get the job done..
Post installation review:
1. Arm rest is definitely in position with no shaking what so ever.
2. The sliding of front seats is become a problem as the base of arm rest keeps interfering with the movement. (The huge bolts which hold the seat belt lock into position gets stuck behind the base and moving the seat without a lot of effort is impossible)
3. Will try to check if the base can be modified a bit or the bolts can be changed to a little thinner ones.
4. Cannot engage the hand brake as smoothly as it used to be earlier. Was unable to locate the brake lever when I did a TD after installation.
Long rides will definitely be comfortable as you can rest your arm on it rather than holding the gear bar all the time.
Instant hand braking can be a problem in case of an emergency!!
So people, you have your reasons for going or not going for the universal Arm Rest!!
