> The FE that you have been getting is quite good I must say, cause I've been getting around 13 in my jazz in city & got about 16 in highways with full load & AC.
Actually I was planned to put 3M RE Series. But when I inquired about that, It was not available in any of the shops.
The next option was Garware.
I couldn't find HP 35 anywhere in my place.
I asked 3-4 places for the Ice cool grand and found that it is the cheapest among offered.
And this HP 35 is it coming above or below which I am having?
They had Ice cool series, NF series, Some other series ( I don't remember name)
I am not satisfied with the work. I can find more bubbles here and there, mostly on the rear window adjacent to tail lamp. ( He said it is very difficult to put their hands there) and he also mentioned it will be gone after 3-4 days.
I did not put film on the front. I think City's windshield covers larger area than that of Jazz. ( But its not gonna make any difference in the price)
I had placed DRL after the Athirappilly Trip that is the reason you can not find it there.
Yes I am still having the DRL s on.
I fixed it from a local shop. It is not a well known brand. But it has 5 extremely bright LED's with dedicated reflectors. These are coming with separate wiring kit. I can tell you the brightness is very very high so we can not use it in the night time. ( It might blind someone)
It is coming in pairs with holding brackets. The angle can be changed even after fixing it since it is coming with a tilt able bracket.
Color temperature is 6000K. So its little blueish. I liked it more if it is poor white.
I got it installed for Rs: 3000/- Including work charge.
The same item is available in the online market with reduced price. The reason why I had gone for this is because of the fixing. I don't want to put my hands on the new car. :)
Actually the connection should be like this
When we turn ON the ignition it will automatically get lighten and when we put the Park light/ Head light, it will get dimmed so that it can be used in the night time for the look.
For my car I took the connection directly from the battery with a switch because I did not want to alter the OEM
wiring. And we can use it whenever we want it.
We can not use it for fog lamp purpose for driver visibility. But oncoming vehicles can easily identify us even in the daytime. That is the main purpose
When somebody is coming from opposite side the first thing they will notice be these DRL's
