He went for 5 minutes and came back saying don't know what's the problem. I was about to pay the bill when he said there's one more step which is the final checkup. Even though it's a good thing I was getting irritated. I had my breakfast at 9:30 amand it was already 3 pm.
So final checkup done and paid the bill and came home.
you haven't seen this service center. There are 2 bays to the left of the main entry of the reception and 2 bays on the right :p rest of the area is in a separate section and the body shop is just beneath the building.
I was waiting in the lounge and I could see my car from the room. I wanted to check the procedure so stood there taking pics and having a talk with the mechanic. He seemed very educated and knew most of the things I asked.
I did ask him about the anti roll bars , he said these cars don't have one but suvs like endeavour does. I told him about Tai
and said many members said even the alto comes with anti roll bars to which he said he has only serviced ford cars from the beginning and had no idea about the things of other cars.
Anyways that's why I clickEd the underbody pics for you guys to discuss. I don't know where it should be present.
He removed the drain oil and the oil just flowed out without using any kind of machine. I don't know what goes around at hyundai service center but these guys sure check things thoroughly. Checking all the electricals , any noise coming from the wheel bearings , he also told me about something related to gearbox. It was also a rubber part and if it fails the gears won't slot.
Another thing is that I don't know why ford doesn't appoints more advisors. Hyundai sc seems to have more advisors ( they take in about 10-15 cars everyday) ford has same number or less advisors for 52 cars. And my advisor said today is not that crowded.
I had to update my advisor that the car is ready. I asked the persons to remove the car from that busted lift and give it for washing. After mechanical work I asked the cleaning guys to Polish the dashboard.
In the beginning I saw my car being lifted near the washing area. My car was supposed to be the top priority and I thought they must be checking the underbody. You won't belive what he said. sir , the lift machine is giving troubles so we were checking the lift"
I was like wtf. I instantly asked them to remove the car from the lift and give it for washing.
you won't know these type of things if you are not present.
@ vishnu- i could access this area because it was literally besides the entry to the main reception. The other part I wasn't allowed where theyou scanned the car.
