Sorry for the late post. I've been busy and not riding much. Hence the little updates.
The bike was given for third service. Odo at service is 8600kms. There was a khat sound coming from the handlebar. I asked the SA to check. Engine was leaking oil from the head. It was leaking oil from the oil filler hole as well. After service the khat sound still exists. Engine head seal was replaced. Can't observe any oil leak. Even the oil filler cap seal was gone. No stock hence it will be replaced next time.
Meanwhile I installed reflective Rim Tape on the bike. Looks better now.
Today as I was cleaning the bike, I found that the front fork is leaking oil and has dripped all over the floor. I've just covered 9300kms and an fork seal failure at such an early stage is a cause for worry. I'm planning to take the bike to the SC and get it corrected, hopefully under warranty. Am I beginning to experience the poor KTM quality at the end of my warranty period?
Here you can see the oil flowing down the tube.
