Scorpio is indeed a strong and leading SUV in india.
I have a strong battle going in my mind between Honda City VX and Mahindra Scorpio S10,
both got their own advantages and disadvantages,
I've gone through many reviews, one thing I'm sure and that is engine is more refined.
but what about mahindra after sale service, panel gapes, rattling sound.
on other hand honda city is FWD, won't be good for hill climbing and there is no place in India where I may not encounter with hills, because real beauty is on hill top.
Thank You Very much indeed.
Wow that's some confusion !
Honda city and Scorpio .
Though it depends a lot on your running, but,
Stirring my 2cents worth knowledge, let me try and help you out.
Honda City : Very comfortable, Luxurious Sedan. For a sedate and comfortable ride and drive. Soft set of suspension and at the end its a Honda, so the engine and after sales reliability is beyond doubt.
Scorpio: Indian Suv made for Indian road's.
Go anywhere vehicle and can take abuse without any hesitation.
Big Road presence. Very nice driving position, very good all round view.
You can drive like a king with those armrest positioned perfectly.
The Mhawk 2.2 engine is really well refined. (You can trust me on that)
Not much of niggles. Good After sales service.
On the other hand being a ladder on frame build SUV with the suspension set up on a bit harder side does absorb any road condition like a charm. Due to this setup you might feel a tiny bit of wobbling. (Actually that's a perk with any ladder on frame build SUV, the wobbling and nose diving)
Also i was never much comfortable with the low riding height of the sedan the way you have to be extra careful on bad roads and scraping the underbelly.
With Scorpio you would just Go.
Hope my little input helps.
Do let me know what's your decision.
