Sorry its been long, but have quite a lot updates to share:
Took out some time for the Man-Machine bonding and went for a gate away road trip to Hyderabad from Kolkata immediately after the TAI
Since it was all Night Driving, the Fog was very intense and not much of photo shooting opportunity enroute till twilight.
But it did gave me perfect opportunity to test the Beast's capability
Handling felt very good especially on high speeds, tried to test the speed at higher ranges, driven between ranges 120 - 140kmph, did not strain the engine further.
Tried the Cruise Control, which is indeed a Boon for highway rides, just accelerate and decelerate from the steering WOW!
The ODO read around 4785 kms upon arrival Hyderabad, so did the First Service.
It was a regular First Free service, changing Oils, topping up Coolants and other miscellaneous checks.
I did not came forward with any of my complaints, wanted to sort them out after I come back to Kolkata.
Here are some Pics attached.
(Please Reduce the Volume while Watching, Lots of Disturbance !)
Visited the ASS
immediately upon arrival Kolkata,
My complaints were:
-- I felt certain Vibrations in the cabin while slow Braking.
-- Certain Noise was Coming up from the Rear Suspension, it needed some Greasing.
-- This Particular Noise from the Engine, it comes Up very Rarely, the Service Advisor had No clue what this was all about !
The Service Advisor told they were replacing the Rear Brake Drums on a Trial and Error basis as few other New Gen Scorpio's have got the same complaint, and the part was ordered.
So I am waiting for the Part to arrive and will then continue with the other Maintenance Jobs.
