For eg Fuel filled 27 liters and your storme covered 270km or 324km in that period u can assume your mileage is 10 or 12 respectively
27ltr X 10 kmpl =270km
27 X 11 =297km
27 X 12 =324km
Thanks Storme911; I will give it s shot.
On the ODO meter its 980 KM on 28th May and it was time to send this Beast to service station for her First servicing.
Work to be done:
1. Slight Rattling from Driver Door.
2. Car Wheel Alignment as it was inkling towards Left.
I called Auto Vikas (Dwarka) and booked my car for a pickup for 29th May for her first servicing. Spoke with their front desk person and booked the car, she said they will send someone from there to pick the car @10:00 AM.
The next day the guy reported @ 11:30 AM maybe it could be traffic or Metro was running slow, I don’t know but he reported late which means one hour wasted just to handover the car and explain him what are the small issues. The guy took off.
Since I am an IT guy I work in Night Shifts therefore had to give me fathers number just incase they want to report anything. The Engineer called up my Dad’s number and informed him that wheel alignment will be Charged. My Father has load of patience, but on listening this he vented out his concern to the technician and said you better keep the car with yourself. The car is new and has this fault from the day we took it out from the showroom. It is Tata responsibility to fix this issue and hand off to their customers.
If this would have been sent for second servicing then paying for wheel alignment should be charged however this was totally disgusting. The technician said he will speak to his supervisor and will let us know if this will be included in free service. After 30 min he called and confirmed the same to my father that this will be done for no charge.
In the afternoon when I got up and listened to this incident from my father, I called up the same guy and asked him why is it that Tata lacks o much on customer service and behavior. I have heard and learnt about from many users that wheel alignment is common concern in tata vehicles and normally in the first servicing it is done for no charge. Anyways after my conversation with the technician I discovered that I am talking to a tin can. The guys said that the car will be delivered @ around 5:00 PM.
I was right they turned up 45min late, the guy who came to deliver the car had the AC on at the third Level. However when I saw the car I was amazed and thought is this my car. The car had oil and dust stains all over the body. The Windshield had water mark all over it. When I saw the seat it had big Black mark on it looks like the mechanic working on this veichle didn’t bothered to ensue that he had the plastic well covered before he sat on it.
When I asked the delivery guy what the hell is this he simply said sir this is your paper and kept quiet. I Called up Auto Vikas motors and spoke with their service station manager Navneet. I told him that my watchman cleans the car better than his team. The car condition was so bad as someone had used a dirty oily cloth all over the car. Which resulted in swirl marks and dust stains all of the car.
Mr. Navneet read his script of apologies and offered that he will pick up the car tomorrow and get it cleaned once again. The irony is that my father had to take this car out of Delhi. AutoVikas has a long way to go when they can say that they have professional and a sincere staff. Even a Sales person in a shoe showroom is better when it comes to handling a customer.
Seriously Tata has a wonderful vehicle but it’s their end team and especially their customer service reps which screws up the whole experience. I am surprised by the casual attitude these guys carry. Basic customer service skill is not missing but I would say it NOT there in them. Tata is a big player in IT industry and cater to global customer, why is that they cant train these brainless individuals informing them what exactly is customer service? What is the value of customer sat levels? Winning one customer trust is like winning the trust of many others.
Its is shameful and disgusting to see all this happening, Tata really needs to see these things and work on providing a better customer service to their customers. There are good products out there in the market but people don’t buy them because their after sale service is in question. Tata is doing heck of a job in their vehicles but it’s the game after sale’s that they need to win.
Anyone know a better place for getting Storme serviced, I am in west Delhi in Rajouri Garden. Also if someone can provide an email address for their marketing or Sales Guy I would love to write up to them and make them aware. I have seen that they respond well but it’s like “murdering someone and then saying Sorry”
