I noticed that you use collinite 845 for your ride,I was wondering if you could explain the applying methodology used by you when time permits, also which clay bar you use? I always wanted to try that product but due to no prior knowledge of DIY never tried it.
is a hybrid wax/sealant. I used a Duragloss Foam Pad
with 3-4 drops per panel to apply it. Once it hazes(turns whitish) in 3-4 minutes, I wiped it off with a Eurow Premium Microfiber towel
This Collinite 845 bottle is expected to last almost 2 years. Always apply C845 as thin as possible.
Clay is used to remove impurities/decontaminants from the paint clear coat. This provides a better bonding surface for the sealant. I used a synthetic clay bar Opti-Eraser
. Claying is done 1-2 times a year.
Based on their requirements, everybody has their own way of cleaning the car. With advice from others, I chose the above items because they suit my current purpose. There are hundreds of other products to use with varying prices and output. Choose as per your needs. Let me know if you have any doubts.
