However the car was done in a day.
They removed the broken bolt and replaced with new bolt. total cost of New bolt + oil seal+Labour is around 850Rs.
I had also the 30K paid service done with the same and asked to check eact and every bolt.
They told me some engine bolts were slightly lose, So I guess that might be the reason for this failure. However the service center guys are firm about that something might have hit the pully and thats why it was broken.
But compared to our fellow TAIan who faced similar issue his dealer caused him so much pain, removeing entire engine etc. In my case they had no need to remove the engine.
They did not charge me anything extra (even toeing) and did everything I asked for. | Hi parth. How much did you pay for the 30k paid service? I paid 14k after discount on labour and wheel balancing/allignment |

| Re: Hyundai Grand i10 Asta Ownership Review I got the unexceptional mileage of 18.91 with my grand i10 (petrol). This is the second time the car has given such a mileage on highway. Its almost same as the company figures. |

Gone are the days of Hyundai Petrols giving pathetic mileage figures. Our 1st Gen i10 gives a mileage of 14kmpl on the highways

My grand i10 never ever returns a good mileage with the mixed driving (city and highway) though I drive with utmost care. . The city mileage never goes above 13 km/L. |

No offence meant buddy.
If I have hurt your feelings, I am so sorry ! |

Drove constantly at 80-85 Km/Hr, the car delivered 22.9 Km/ltr fuel efficiency.
The efficiency was recorded on torque app through ELM 327 OBD-II device.
The MPG trim set to 1.15.

| Re: Hyundai Grand i10 Asta Ownership Review Hello guys I have booked asta optional model. Waiting for the VIN. The dealership seems cooperative with getting my vehicle fast without waiting time. I have told them I won't be taking delivery or pay without looking at the car. How does the car performs in hilly areas? |

No issues with the pulling power as long as you are on the right gear and you know how to drive on the hills, but yes you need to have a firm hand on the steering since its far lighter than say a figo or even a swift. My grand was from the infamous battery drain batch and the car did refuse to start after a cold rainy night in Nainital, 5 minutes under the sun with an open bonnet brought back life to the cold engine. Go for it, I have no regrets except the pick up, however since my commute is mostly in the city, nothing beats the comfort and the upmarket feel. |

Moving base to hilly area. Was in favour of Figo but no service centre in nearby area so went ahead with grand I 10. Not much of a driver now but hope I soon will be. |

| Re: Hyundai Grand i10 Asta Ownership Review Hi All,
I am one of the early birds to purchase the Grand I10. Now a days I am facing an issue when I use the AC in my car for sometime. After running the car for like 15 minutes with AC on, if the car is stopped at some signal or traffic the engine keeps revving up and down for sometime. Generally when the car is idle the RPM is usually below 1000, but now when the AC is on the RPM keeps fluctuating below 0 - 1000 for couple of minutes and then stops.
Has anyone else faced this issue before? If yes how was this fixed? |

It took hardly 30 minutes to do so. Service Advisor suggested the problem to have been caused by dust getting accumulated on points of contact at alternator's connections. Although I was not very convinced by his diagnosis, but the solution worked out just fine. |
