| | Re: The Italian Beauty in Red Fiat Punto 90HP
lon time i have not posted anything here was quite help up with work, mean while the punto has roared past 80000 km is still going strong on the stock clutch, the 75000 km service was one of the most pleasant experience i have had in my entire ownership experience of owning a fiat, the guys at rs motors were fantastic, fixed all the niggling issues with the car, including a fusing tail lamp problem, the love box finally fits properly for the first time in almost 3 years.
now for the bad news just yesterday something really bad happened
Yesterday started out as any saturday evening would, little did i know how badly it would go wrong, was happily waiting at the signal like one would do at a red light when just as we start to move a truck which was parked on the drives side at the signal decides he wants to go to the left with no indication i mean there was not even a left turn there and as u can see decides to give my little red baron a bear hug, the mirror which fell down before we could pick it up gets run over by a BEST bus. When i ask for traffic cop to help all he says is i cant do anything go straight to the byculla police stn to lodge a police complaint, but says the truck owner has 14 trucks and will ask u to file for ins claim with the ins cover her has for his truck, said just file for a accident report with the police stn so that it will help with claim the ins from my own ins, due to the damage to the front wing the door of the car does not open properly and u have to use physical force to open it as the metal from the wing is interfering with the smooth functioning of the door, luckily you can say that it could have been worse. One thing i noticed is that even with the while wing getting a massage therapy done the vibration from the impact did not make it through into the cabin i though initially only the cars mirror is broken and then when i try to open the door i realized how much more serious it is.
