On March 16th Checked out Every Cars in the List.
At 11 am, Went to RNS Maruti to check out the new Swift. Test Drove the car and was very impressed by the Engine. I was surprised that ride quality was way better then Earlier Swift. The Sales Person asked which color, model you want. I wanted ZXi in Blue or Grey color. Sadly the Sales Person told me that it'll take 2-3 months for Blue, Grey ZXi. There was a Blue VXi, but didn't show interest since it lacks ABS
At 1 pm, Went to Hyundai Showroom to check the i20. To my surprise there were as many as 7 i20's(All Colors). I was interested in Sportz(Twilight Blue. Ember Grey). Took a test drive, The first thing i noticed is the refined Engine, Surprisingly the AC was not cooling quickly. Ride Quality was good at low speeds, it glided through potholes, etc. As soon as the speed picked up, the Soft Suspension showed up as the car was bouncing a lot. I already know that Hyundai's are poor Handlers, Steering was numb, could have had more feedback. The Figo has the best Steering Feel. Also at 7.7 lakhs with offers of just 15k it looked expensive, interest was beginning to fade away.
At 2.30 pm, Went to Nissan Showroom to check the Micra. Saw the car inside and out. But Sadly there was no Test-Drive car available. Good offers were available. There was a 25k cash discount, Free Insurance and 5k Corporate Discount. Total Offer was 50k.
After Lunch, At 4 pm, Went to Honda Showroom to check out the Brio. There were 5 of them. I asked my parents to look at the colors. I took a Test-Drive and when i started the Engine things stared to look Exciting. The Engine was silky smooth, gearbox was crisp to use and Brakes were very progressive. Ride Quality was good at low speeds, the the think which made me smile was the Handling and Fun to Drive Factor. The Steering had enough Feedback, Car was agile and grip was good. Suddenly found that i can have fun with it. After the TD had a 1 hour long discussion with Family. My Parents totally agreed to go ahead and buy the Brio.
On 18th March, I Went to the Showroom
Saw the car Thoroughly inisde out. I got Free Insurance and Loyalty Bonus and 5k Corporate Discount. After seeing all colors finally decided to book Urban Titanium. The Excitement was even more enhanced when the Sales Executive told me that there is a UT Brio VMT readily available with them. I quickly decided to have a look the car and it. To my surprise it was a March 2013 Brio and i quickly told that i want this one. He accepted my request and said the car will ready by 20th March.
On 22nd March, I went again and saw the Brio looking spanking new. Since the Car did not have temporary number i told them to get it done. Got a phone call from Sales Person saying that TP is done and is ready for delivery.
At 6 pm, Came to the Showroom with Family and the Puja was done and the Delivery was taken at 6.30.
Pictures will be added Soon.
