| | Re: Fun Begins - My Exceptional New Honda Brio VMT
Recently I found some minor niggles on Brio.
1. The left wheel & suspension started making noise, then all of a sudden when I was slowing down noticed sound of metal brushing each other, it was hearable only in the Front Left Wheel area, it was increasing as the car picked up speed. This was at 11pm. Had no choice but to leave car at home and take brother's i20.
2. Next morning, I see the mist in the windshield. Then naturally one will turn the Air Mode to windshield. Then came the niggle, it just refused to Rotate. I moved on and reached Service station and complained to the Advisor.
After 15 minutes, went for Test Drive and found that sound was completely gone. This happened because i pumped the brakes previous night when sound was detected. The test drive was through all kinds of Roads and the sound had vanished. According to him, the sound is mainly either because of water inside brake parts or brake callipers, it was rechecked and no defect was found.
Regarding the knob, he said that it happened due to less use of other modes and it was fixed by changing the clips inside the dashboard.
Now it is functioning without niggles and the sound has vanished. He said that if the sound remains on, then thorough investigation will be done when it happens,
All this was done for Free without any labour charges. Totally satisfied with work.
