scooty looks good! But where is the carbon vinyl?
I guess my Englisss Vingliss is verrry phanny language!!!NEways withoutjuxtaposing the membraneof exuberance let me declare I am calling normal Halogen bulb to be more intelligent than LED as the halogen lamp the shopkeeper always tests with a normal battery, Which means it runs both on AC and dc power.
The interesting part is wats happened today evening:
Went to my local mechanic to fit the local cheap brake levers self painted in amazingly gorgeous blue. After some forcible attempts the beauties got attached to me. I mean my scooter (not scooty u pumpkins out there!!!
!)My scooter has a heart u know that!!!
To my utter shock that young boy told me sirget the HID I will fitit in flat 15mins.Direct wire cutting to the headlight wiring no batter issue no battery inputs absolutely nothing!!!
Now my questions and confusions are as below:
- The Halogen headlight bulb runs with battery thats for sure,so does that mean my scooter converts the AC generated from alternator and powers the Dc feedinto the halogen bulb?
- If thats true which means HID and any Dc device will be direct plug n play qhich is again proved and supportedby the fact that I amhaving same set of brake and tail light assemblies one on tail light headlight connection and another on the brake light DC battery.
- So shall I go for the risk of getting a HID worth 1000-1200 bucks and ask this guy to fit.
I asked him approx 8-10times so many times that he got pissed offat the end but the answer remained same, no battery connection direct cutting and slicing of wires to the headlight socket for the HID plug n play replacement.
Request all you learned people to throw somemore light on this topic, wat makesmatters worse is theres no manual no guidance way by which I can know or confirm if the AC converted into DC and the halogen bulbs operate on Dc or do they run on both!!!
Kannan, need some Gyaan Thalaiva!!!
