I would like to make certain things clear.
I like Tata cars for their looks and comfort. They are usually on the lower side of pricing. I'm a big fan of Safari and Grande for their looks. We have/had 3 Tata vehicles namely Indica dicor, 407 and Ace. We sold 407 five years back and got a Eicher 10.90 and a Swaraj Mazda before two years(maintenance of both are better than 407). We are going to sell Ace once we get delivery of Ashok Leyland Dost. We won't be selling Indica dicor just yet, if we do we have to get an Indica again, for the purpose there is no alternative. What we learned from these vehicles are, Tata are cheap to buy and gives good mileage, but over a long term they rattle more and service costs gets higher and higher. At the same time, Toyotas and Mahindras are doing a great job in our close circle.
I don't think there is any Tata bashing going on. You like Tata cars, you speak high of it. But there are many unlucky owners out there. Tata seems to be not interested in learning and the only reason they are improving the quality is because they want to export it to Europe. I read that Aria 2wd(only for India) don't qualify for Euro NCAP as they removed some essential members from the chassis. Tata is still taking Indians for a ride.
Aria is a significant improvement for Tata, but the premium they are claiming is simply ridiculous. Despite the premium, its quality isn't as good as Innova and though it is better than XUV, I bet XUV will be cheaper to maintain over a long term. From the initial reports, I find that Aria's quality is inconsistent. Some are extremely good, some are poor. I think Tata just worked on its interior quality, while the mechanicals are still not up to the mark.
@Tornado, If you are having a great experience with Tata, then it is nice to hear. But mine is not that good(I would still check Storme though). Hence, I'm suggesting against Tata cars if someone wants a long term reliable vehicle.

Why are you posting this same point over and over again?
