. This is a discussion on Nissan Terrano Review & Pictures: Terrific Terrano within Official Road Tests. Part of The Automotive Reviews category; Commercial of terrano
Can anything be more unsafe than this ? The 3rd row seat is official Nissan accessory; so small, it is meant for children. No seat belts, and there is a metal bar jutting out behind where the child's head would be. How does any automaker market a life endangering accessory like this, and how do gullible Indian buy these things ? Beyond me.
Isn't this acecssory available on Duster as well? In the accessory list provided by the Renault dealer I have seen this listed so Renault is also doing this mistake. Also if you note such seating is there on Quanto too.
Any idea why it is taking so much time for Nissan to provide a vehicle for test drive at the dealer level ? Any bells ringing? Is Nissan making Amy changes to interior quality or features? Need some thoughts please
I saw Terrano in EVM Cochin . Great look .
For me it looks greater both in Exterior and in Interior .
I am planning to buy XL petrol model .
Because for me , I have only average 300 KM / month .
Any suggestions friends.
^^ Yeah I am not getting much time these days, quite few things are pending
1. Terrano test drive
2. Amaze test drive
3. I10 Grand test drive
Hope fully I will do them soon, but Terrano looks really good to me from front and rear views both
Did you finalize car? I would avoid Amaze if good gearbox and good service in Hyderabad (Sundaram Motors) is important. I would avoid Grand i10 if stable ride quality and engine power (diesel) is a requirement.
I had test driven Nissan Terrano 110 and Renault Duster PS back to back (unfortunately, Duster 110 was not available for test drive at that time). I was expecting noticeable turbo lag in Terrano 110, but there wasn't (I drive a Suzuki Ritz, naturally that will be my benchmark). Found it similar to Duster 85. Does any one know if the engine has been re-tuned?
I didn't like the beige interiors. It's too hard to maintain.
The clutch was heavy. I always felt that the clutch of Ritz is too heavy for my comfort. This one is even heavier than that. Also, the fact that clutch pedal is small, aggravated the problem. I don't know why a car with a price tag north of one million rupee comes with such a hard clutch. I asked the sales guy about it and he said it matches with the rough and tough image of an SUV! One would use such a car only for long drives (which might last a whole day) and with such a clutch (and the traffic and road you might expect in India), it will be very tiring.
Nissan has now launched the Limited Edition Terrano called as "The Anniversary Edition" with a Head-Up display. It is limited to 450 units only and the booking is to be done via Nissan's Website.
The Terrano Anniversary Edition comes in two variants (both Diesel) – XVD THP (110 PS) & XVD THP Premium (110 PS). It is available in five colors – Bronze Grey, Blade Silver, Fire Red, Sterling Grey, Storm white to Pearl White.
