Now a days engines are manufactured to tighter tolerances.But metal to metal friction will still happen.It is good that you have followed the 2000rpm rule yourself.It will help keep your engine healthy for years to come.Did you change the oil after the first 1000kms?People will say its not essential but I have followed this with our new car.
HID's will not be a straight fit.But you can try to look for one that fits plug and play.AFAIK
cutting of wires will lead to the warranty being void atlease with Maruti.Please check your warranty terms before you decide to cut into any wires.
