3500 kms++ Update...
Hey Guys, completed 3500 kms today!
The cluck noise that use to come everytime you leave the clutch, has definately reduced and will continue to do so.
As the engine will get its life scheduled, which totally depends upon the driver's driving skills/style, in other words normal wear and tear, the engine will get nicely settled and will provide an excellent ride to play with.
This is what replied to me by a Service Technician (Technician -not a labour guy or something).
The rattles or other such noises coming from various places on checking in details (This was done by car on offroads, and it was driven by a technician in front with another techie accompanying him and me sitting at behind), were found that the rear seat belt has abnormal movement while the car is in motion. It has continuous movement, also it touches the side doors very often, such often that also on plain roads sometimes. Please do observe in your cars.
The another rattling noise, somewhat speaker rattling type comes from the A-pillar/instrument box and from the driver's door window. The A pillar and instrument box does require some kind of soft padding to kill the rattles permanently. This is a well known error in most ES.
And the noise from diver's window is from the motor circuit of power window control. Even this is a well known error in most ES. This has even resulted in malfunctioning of drivers side power window in many ES, which has also burnt the motor in many cases. Please check with your cars if you are experiencing so.
The techie on my further questioning said that most people observe very lately such issues/problems as everybody has a new car phoebia to drive extreme slow over potlholes/bumps etc. even on plain roads upto 5000-7000 kms.They don't even come to know that the problem exists, however it may, as its a common error.He assured its not a serious problem. This can be sorted very easily, just requires opening of plastic parts fixing the errors and thats it, done! Merely 2-3 hours job.
Honestly, I have diagnosed all the problems occuring in my car, explained above with the techie, however I do not wish to them all now.
I am going to wait till 10,000kms - second servicing.
Lastly, the riding quality is improving day by day. I remember the day one I brought my ES home from the showroom, I got a feeling that its a bit harsh also bumpy sometimes, will have to take extreme care of this, cant ride rough, cant just move it like my SX4 anywhere howsoever and offroading absolutely NO!. I was still very much in love with it so I termed it as my Baby! (Baby- However for a SUV didnt compliment it much)
But over a period of time, though 3500 kms is very early, I have changed my changed my mind from "Baby" To a True "Panther". Now I am more happy to call it a Panther, just love it more!!!
I just love the highway cruising. Moves like a wild panther
. GRABS ATTENTIONS!!!!!
Lets hope for the best, and lets see how it behaves after 10,000 kms.
Warning or Experience whatever you call it - I believe tyre pressure 30psi for all is perfect, irrespective how many people are sitting inside, any increase in the pressure results to a bumpy bumpy ride.
