Congrats Dr.. How many days you took to complete 2300 kms. For me it is 1100kms in 20 days.
I am also waiting eagerly for my 1st Servicing done because of following reasons:
1. Mine is 1.5L P Titanium. I am experiencing more noise from the Engine even when all windows are closed. I have been to service center, but service adviser said it is common across all Ford petrol cars.
Any suggestions guys??
2. Audio system's noise goes down a little bit automatically sometimes and then again comes back to original after some time. My observation is when I turn to right side this happens. Anybody experiencing the same??
3. It is only 20 days old car, and wipers are making squeaking noise already. 2 days before, it was raining heavily here, and I put wipers at their max. speed, and they were making this noise.
4. I am not getting enough power (IMO
) while driving. SA said, after 2nd servicing it will give you more power. New vehicles gives less power initially.
But forgetting all above minor issues, I am enjoying it like anything. Wherever I take a break on a road, people come and ask about it, everybody turns their head to check it out.

Mine is a ecoboost and boy this engine pulls well when you are in turbo. I felt the high speed manners of the car is top notch. You won't feel the speed due to excellent cabin insulation and the ride quality. The beast gulped down 10 litres of petrol from the showroom and another 44 litres on the way back. Will try to get a FE figure post the next tank full.
The gadgetry is again too overwhelming and left me confused at times (mind you am not a tech noob, but still . Driving out of the showroom I was not sure how to engage the high beam, flash, etc.) Went through the manual today and I already felt much at ease in my morning drive to office.
It is definitely a looker, already have been asked by 3-4 people about the car. One of them was downright sad that the bookings are now closed. Also it gives the feel of a big car from the outside. When I went for refuelling the pump guy was annoyed that I went in the petrol bay. He thought a big car runs only on diesel
I won't stretch this post any longer. Pics are in my camera and I will post them when I return home today. One question to owners -
Is the anti pinch thing part of the package (titanium)? Mine is probably over ridden. Any idea how to set it back? Manual says disconnect the battery; any other way?
Hi Dhurbo...Many many congratulations for your new beast. Its worth. Enjoy happy miles.
