Finished 600kms in just 2 days...will post some more detailed images..... | hearty congrats Sameer, very happy for you and your family !!
I am waiting for my diamond white 1.5P Titanium to come in around October 12. before that, will have my diamond white 1.5P Trend delivered in the next few days :-)
We are eagerly waiting to hear from you on the power / driveability of the 1.5 P Manual transmission. Most importantly, hoping to hear some good figures from you on mileage / fuel efficiency.
Your inputs would be immensely valuable, pour them in :-) |

Also to all EcoSport owners, 1.Have you paid the temporary registration charges 6500 as specified in the quotation?
2.Which insurance they are giving by default with MPL Ford? | You have to press both lock and unlock btn on the remote for 5 sec. You will see that the indicators will blink twice.now if you press the unlock btn,it will unlock the driver door only. If you press it again in 3 sec, it will unlock all doors.
I did t get what mean by lock unlock btn on side of dash |

| Re: First Drive: Ford EcoSport Test Drive Review Odo reads 59 after they driven and bring it from neelamangla stock yard (almost 18 kms from palace cross road)
No scratches (parked in sunlight and checked)
A/c cooling is good,
all switches are working
No indication or warning lamps glowing once turned on except hand break as it is on (once switched off the engine the water and battery lights are glowing which is normal as i have the same indication my figo have checked and found same on another Ecosport
Trip meter reads 56.3
Engine hot run or some through checking was done after 15th july
Some of the parts has made after or checked or foxes on july
Engine starts and stops on single press
Only on driver foot rest area found few sand particles and rest of the floor is clean
Checked for almost 30+ minutes not able to find any issues
Fuel closure lid is plastic not metal even in my figo its metal
Both the keys looks similar and have same functionality
I mean spare key is exact ditto of the other key
Where on both actual metal key was hidden inside
After checking each noock and corners found no issues to reject it
And even our pdi doc clearly says vehicle should be manufactured with in 6 months and ran below 100 kms
This is with in 3 months and ran 59 kms
So gone ahead and said yes getting it by next week

Is it true they will allow, before delivery you can inspect the vehicle? Btw, in the side by side pics of Ecosport (Chill and White) Chill is little bit height and white is less. Is this because of the 16" wheel in titanium?

I also dislike some el cheapo plastics of Ecosports interior and yes the fuel lid plastics, wonder how much Ford might have saved with that! anyway good to see Ford didnt mess up with your Ecosport. |

So gone ahead and said yes getting it by next week | It is quite evident from pics that trend and ambient varient looks small before titanium, because of small wheels and so naturally the height of vehicle also comes down.

I took the shot to show the diffrence of one inch |

I took the shot to show the difference of one inch | Yes this shows the difference in height. So is there any chance, the mileage will differ for 15" and 16" wheels? |

Theoretically, the titanium will give a better mileage since more distance will be covered per revolution (everything else being constant). Will be interesting to test this hypothesis once enough data points are available :-) |
