Seems Euro version of Ecosport has more kits and more price and more tech inside, Ford Europe is undergoing a crisis with plant closures and lack of demand for Mondeo,S-Max,C-Max only Focus and Fiesta is keeping Ford alive in Europe just like Fiesta and Figo as of here in India, but IN USA Ford is facing same situation as of in India there Escape and Fusion is having so much demand that at certain states ford has made late deliveries and waiting periods, Ford was one of the worst car sellers in USA from 2000-2009 but best truck sellers(F-150),with the advent of Focus,Escape(KUGA),Fusion(Mondeo), Ford has overtaken Honda CR-V sales and Accord sales is declining due to Fusion, Focus is still not the best seller so is the Fiesta
Also there is news that by 2020 all Ford vehicles above the B-platform will have their low cost carbon fiber technology that will significantly reduce kerb weight of cars by upto 100 kgs, if that is true less kerb weight more agility, sharper handling, better power to weight ratio, better mileage for Kuga,Focus,C-Max,S-Max,Mondeo etc and well they might overtake Honda and Toyota in global sales charts as well.
Lets see how Ecosport plays the trump card in Russia,South Africa,Australia, and Europe
by the by where is @ Jeffy, we are waiting for the first AT petrol user experience, and that will complete the Ecosport lineup in TAI
forum as well.
