Buying a BMW 525 TDS: Info Required

I just got my licence and im thinking of buying a classic old bmw 525 tds. I am going to modify it to make it look better. I wanted to know what wil be the average of an 1996 bmw 525 tds diesel and other pros and cons of this car? Please help asap

Average would depend on how you drive it. You can expect anything between 10-14 kmpl combined.
It completely beats me why do you want to buy a car when you don't know its pros and cons.
