Hello All,

Just to brief on my passion about this forever Bike:

I was always eager to own this beast. This is my dream.

In 2011 i came to know that there are bikes which are restored and sold in Mysore.

One of my friends introduced to a mechanic who had the bike painted and packed all spares in a Gunny bag.

I decided to get it assembled and bring it home.

The vehicle which was assembled in mysore was not upto the mark.

I then came in contact with Mr. Afsar Baig a Jawa and Yezdi mechanic in Blore.

Got the vehicle inspected by him and came to know there is still work pending on the vehicle to bring it to the stock condition and decided to Restore the king to his original status.

This thread will be a pictorial way of presenting the restoration of my KING.

Oh nice! Great work going on there.
What about some modifications (custom paint, etc)?
Good luck for the work!
Keep the pictures flowing in.

Dear sandeep.jagannath: Good going. As an owner of a restored Roadking, I can help you when it comes to a few things. The paintwork, for once looks good (fuel tank/pannier covers) but look at the patchwork on the right half of the chassis U-Bend (the portion of the chassis just below the fore part of the seat) - its not done properly and you must sand it down and get it repainted.

Keep this thread updated and let us know of the expenses that you incur/have incurred (we might save you from a total rip off). All the best. By the way, which model year?

'95 model = no CB points ignition. You have another reason to be happy. This Roadking will ALWAYS start on the first kick.
