No More Mobile Phone Roaming Charges Across States
 
Hey guys a good move by TRAI, where in one can make calls at no roaming charges when in other states.
Yet to be implimented.

any updates now
yet now finished my trip from karnataka got roaming charges for my phone calls(incoming)[frustration]
but didnt get roaming for data,used to acess TAI and FB no roaming:stupid:

yes i traveled around india and calling roaming charges were there but no roaming 3G charges. :D

This will be so if the govt and the telecom cos survive. Expect higher charges as is already happening.

every company will hike prices. reliance have raised to 1.5 paise from 1.2 paise.

If you have a data plan activated, then on data, there are no roaming charges. If you are using pay-by-use data, then you will be paying roaming charges in addition to normal data rates.

BTW, I am charged Re.1/min for incoming & Rs.1.5/min for outgoing. What about others ?

BTW, calls to home state, in my case MH-Goa are considered STD in roaming. Weird.

i'm going out of delhi this firday. i have an active data plan will see if i'm charged or not [:D]

and yeah 1 re for incoming , 1.5 for outgoing and SMS.
