Is AirBnB Safe To Book Places Outside India?

Hi
I with wifey will be travelling to Thailand for 7 days. Is it safe to book places via AIRBNB or should i stick with regular hotels?

I would suggest booking.com or trivago, or direct hotel booking if you have any references.

I did a direct booking from a local source in goa and enjoyed, this summer.

One of my colleague went to Singapore along with Family. They have booked their hotel through AirBnB. It was good experience as hotel was neat, tidy and room was exactly as shown in picture.

I've had friends book accommodation through AirBnB in the US, India, and Europe. They've always found the experience enjoyably different there, but I can't speak to Thailand.

You should be in good shape if you pay attention to customer reviews of the place, IMHO.
