Friends,
Since yesterday, this term net neutrality was heard by me many times over Radio and the videos in support of it on channels like youtube. Telecom operators are asking for additional charges for using app services like WhatsApp, Skype etc from their network. Many celebs, netizens, portals and political entities have pledged their support for Net Neutrality in India.
In India, all these telecom operators and Internet service providers who offer VoIP services have to pay a part of their revenues to the government so even with earning hefty revenues through users pan India and giving away a comparatively smaller amount to govt. does it really make sense of levying any further extra charges for using apps?
Would like to know what you all think on this?
