Two similar medicines are prescribed for one ailment in case if any 1 of them is not readily available then other can serve the purpose. Telma is telmisartan and my dad uses it too as he is a diabetic but his diabetes is controlled.

My dad was prescribed two medicines for same ailment in which 1 choice was Cardace 500. So, as the other one is not available, he uses Cardace 500.

Do take note of the expiry date of medicines.
