Team,

Life is full of things that have no explanation on why and how they happen to exist. There are incidents which can't be explained on a scientific ground. Many of us have experienced many such things around us and have seen too such things "accidentally" in our house, college, office et al.

Share your spooky experience here. I know all of us have something spooky in the back of our minds.

I will give my contribution here sometime in the day as you may see the time I have started this thread!

Any childhood/teenage or any spooky/paranormal happening you may like to share, please freely share with us.

Regards

Akash.

I would love a separate thread for this topic, but my thread was merged with another thread [frustration]. LOL, I'm gonna like this.

I never had any REAL spooky experiences (fortunately or unfortunately), all of them were flukes.

But I've had a fair share of the Deja Vu thing.
Sometimes I get the creeps-EVERY SINGLE THING is the same, even my thoughts, mostly "Do I remember this?" and I recall thinking on the same lines, but that's for another time.

As I am sleeping, I needed to use the toilet - but because of threads like this, so no toilet for a while. But when it is uncontrollable, I wake up, climb down, go over to toilet door, and here's where the spooky part started. My mother has this habit of opening each door for ventilation. So the door is unlocked and I push it. I saw a small shadow - Discounting it for what it is (A shadow), I further open the door. But that "shadow" was actually a silhouette of a human, turning its head towards me. I SCRAM, while yelling my guts out, to my parents. Thanking God I can speak, I uttered "Silhouette in toilet..it's using it..."[lol] and as this is happening, my sister came from the toilet. Why she didn't lock the door is a different story altogether...

I do not have any more. [frustration]

Nice thread "Akash1886" ,
I dont watch any spooky/horror movies cos the places i stay often are isolated(near forest) & am alone with wild animals like elephants,Foxes(they sound spooky),deer & owls adding to the sound effects. But never had any experience of that sort despite the nature of the place.

My only experience was in 2nd PU when i use to stay in a PG & sleep over at my friends place at night which was nearby(they are like family to me). This friends property was massive(160ft wide) & behind his home were 4 to 5 houses along the width of the property.
One of these houses was supposedly haunted as tenants would leave under 4 to 5 months.I dont know what were the signs but we knew of this from quite a few years.

One day as i was sleeping i noted a tumbler being placed behind my head, upon opening my eyes was a silhouette of a man or whatever on the sofa next to me,Which disappeared as i opened my eyes.I got up & checked on the house & went off to sleep assuming my eyes were seeing stars(like when you see a camera flash).
I did not tell anyone & the whole week mysterious things started happening around the house(according to my friend & family) & the bedroom which i slept was locked off along with the whole floor & a holy man was called etc & same time another house construction started at full swing & they left the house to the servants & moved to the new home.
I had noticed another mysterious thing with the house long before but i assume it was just coincidence.

I have heard a crazy story from my cousin about his hostel roommates, will probably share it later.

I remember reading Jim Corbett & wondering what bravery ,but even such a person had fears of the supernatural.

GHOST COUSIN - MY TRUE STORY

Here is an incident that I keep on telling people and all I get in return is that they laugh at me.

I hope some of you may have seen the movie "The Conjuring". Well it is one hell of a horror movie and I got if gifted by my girl!! Well, **** happens!

I watched the movie and yes, man I always get scared watching them(I do cry in movies and I do get scared too - but then I am like that only[lol])

I went to sleep around 10 pm and since some relatives have visited our place so the cousin brother and sisters were there in the drawing room and enjoying movies and games like ludo etc.

In the midnight my eyes opened and I felt thirsty. Now there were weird thoughts running in my mind and I went to the refrigerator placed in the lobby to get some water to drink(Summer days, hence I haven't kept water with me). Since the refrigerator is placed in the lobby and the lights were ON in the drawing room(Around 30 feet away) so it was dark at the place where refrigerator is placed but drawing room was well lit.
As soon as I opened the refrigerator, I heard a silent voice calling "Vipul!!" and I was out of senses. I simply turned back with my eyes wide open and asked in a stammering voice "kaun(Who's that)?" and moved back towards the refrigerator after I saw a big dark female figure looking at me with open hair. Soon the ghost replied "Paani de(give me water)" and I gave the bottle. Then i noticed her laughing as she understood that I got scared.

It was nothing but since the drawing room was lit behind the girl, so I could see a dark figure more than her face and the slicing on the cake were the thoughts running in my mind. Till date all of those cousin brothers and sisters make fun of me on that incident.[lol][embarass]

Looks like female siblings like to scare things

Now this is interesting. I used to sleep in the hall, and my cabinet was here too. When I hopped into bed, I used to be too tired to get up again. But when I wasn't tired enough to sleep within a split second, something on the cabinet glowed. I don't know what it was, the top of the cabinet was messy. So didn't research much, but all there was there were packets of medicine, watches (without lights) etc. Even checked INside the cabinet but na. It used to GLOW: I am sure of it, it did not shine. In the pitch dark that was the only thing that glowed, and now I wish I had found out.

Another one was:

When I was alone in the hall again, usually was brave. But one night, dunno what happened. Everything was normal, yet I kept thinking things like a hand, trying to open the door from the window or a human figure approaching me from the lobby. And then it happened - I woke up at a wee hour, about 2 AM to 4 AM, did not watch the watch :P. It was a disturbed sleep; I was feeling very hot or was feeling uncomfortable in some way, rather. I was scared, blanket over head. Imminent feeling that someone was standing beside me, with an iron rod ready to strike if I woke up was haunting me. Then, I took the courage and peeked. Nothing, as expected. but the feeling would not go. Could hear my heart beating. I lied their - Motionless. Then, I almost had a heart attack, hearing something like a whistle / flute, which lasted half a second. Low volume, but I did not know what it was. The guard (or we call them Gurkha here) had been away for a while, so it could not be him. But it was not a hallucination, mind you. I somehow slept, got up at the first ray of the Sun, and started work. Forgot about that, and moved on. Next night, slept peacefully. Something that night, maybe a spirit going to NH-3 to get to Mumbai took shelter in my house for the night :stupid:

Enough, I think.

My father worked for a MNC in Gurgaon and one afternoon as he was working on a project in his cabin, the glass next to the door broke inwards as if someone threw something on it but none of the others did anything. They all stood frozen and didn't know how and why it happened. Luckily, my dad was fine and unhurt. He was saved by a few seconds as he came out of the cabin, the glass shattered and a sharp piece of glass pierced the headrest of the seat. My father recalled someone calling him out to vacate the cabin asap but when he asked others no one replied.

Till he retired from there, the cabin did not get a new glass and till date no one is keen to sit there.

After posting on this thread i sat down thinking & i remember an incident on my property when i was in school days, the property i own near forest(mentioned in post #3),long ago this property or area had only one house which my late uncle stayed in,for kms no one was around, this uncle of mine is very well know in our area for the brash lifestyle & also unusual tragic death he suffered.( I do not want to mention details cos of position & family).
After that the house sat vacant.
As my bungalow was being constructed a group of workers with JCB's were called to help with construction & to dig a lake. The workers slept at this abandoned house & came running middle of the night saying they found all of them were sleeping the other way around.
My manager who was new to the place assumed it to be a tall tale but seeing the workers sleep on concrete the next few days in my then newly constructed garage changed his mind.

After that the property is used as shelter for lunch & only in some cases new to town workers stay there. I dont visit either as it smells of bats.

Surprised this thread is not moving as i expected, maybe needs the title changed ???

first ghost fear file in my life
that happened when i was teenage around19 years old boy, at that stage we [including two of my friends] doesn't, believe in after life or ghost, we used to go and sit near graveyard (day time only) and discuss, and the graveyard undertaker used to tell lot of stories, such us dont come here if any skeleton sharp broken part causes wound on our body then, to whom the skeleton belongs to their ghost will come and conquered us and so on .....

like this lot of our summer holidays used to go,

one fine day sorry its one bad day in our life came, for few days one guy keep on watching us while we regularly sat near the graveyard, and on the bad day morning he approached us and voluntarily offered us a ride on his car, took us to a caffe and offered us tea, coffee and snacks, then he started asking us to do a favor for him.... thats the hell here

he is a MBBS final year student, for his final year project or some sort of study presentation he needs a real human skull, which will cost him above 15,000 if he purchased legally at the right place (shop), so he bargained us to give a skull in full, clean and good condition at 8000 rupees, my inner instinct doesn't want to go with the offer, and i said "NO" its illegal and risky we cant do it, but my friend pitched in to the talk and said we do it last and final rate 10,000 (in early 90's thats a big money) and its peanut amount for that rich fellow,

and now comes the interesting part,
informed family members as we are going to movie, already paid the undertaker rupees 800, biriyani and rum bottle, and took a toilet cleaning acid to clean the skull and all set to go at night, as no one will notice us
so we went, it was a full moon day, undertaker shown us a place and said that place we buried a dead body more than a year ago so its best suit for your need,

we just started digging one among my friend said, guys i need to urinate and please come with me.. i am able to sense the fear in his voice, even i have little fear but i didnt show it off and just laugh at him,

the drunken undertaker said "thambigala parthu yelumbu kaiyla kuttichuna pei pudichukum, parthu paa" (if accidental bone pierces your skin and cause blood injury means the ghost will take you)

we digg further took the skull, dropped it many times on fear, and but not broken it cleaned it, secretly kept it at home and let it dry, and the rich brat is urging asking us is it done where is it give me fast
we gave him the skull, our customer is very happy with our service he also smiles like the skull,

after couple of day group of mbbs students came towards us in the same graveyard spot, my friends told me that this seems to be a good business man, almost 14 people are there so we will get 1 lakh 40,000, other guy said no ask for more money machi

and the group leader asked us who gave the skull to our friend, we proudly told them we are the one gave it, you guys also want each one... one guy immediately thrown away the skull they carried in the same bag

and they said brother don't do this to any one, and the guy to whom we sold the skull was hospitalized with high fever with fear (and telling everyone that he is going to die soon)

we asked them what exactly happened to him ?

he was studying the skull at night, some white liquid comes out of the skull and get in contact with his hand (may be the phenol or cleaner we used to clean it may be got struck some where in the nook and corner of the skull came out while he shakes it) he was shocked and shouted like hell where every one in the medical college hostel got up..... and even after we met and console him and after discharge from hospital treatment, for the next few years that guy was like in a feared state and even in day he fears of not going or staying alone for even a minute

are you asking me where is the skull now ? we also got fear immediately, so consulted our known ghost specialist (whom else the same undertaker) followed the ritual told by him, (killed a roaster) and along with the killed roaster buried the skull in the same place

we forget that instance completely, but after few years circumstance made me go their, to perform final rights for my grandpa died that day,now grandpa's body is burning we are all returning, its me and my brother coming at the last some one is calling thambingala inga vaanga pa, vittuporingale idha yaaru pa yedhuthu poova (guys come here, you guys left this take it) it was the undertaker he shows a yellow bag filled with something in it, as the bag was in the same colour bag where i used for keeping the skull i got shocked and shouted like hell, fear got in to my brother also, we started running and he was calling again and again, we reached home, next day morning my dad's friend came and showed the same yellow bag, he shouted that " why the hell you left the kerosene can in the graveyard, now that guy empty it and gave only the can to us" i was laughing happier with relief, as i got free from the fear and sure the skull is not haunting us anymore

i used to feel bit spooky and laugh at my madness whenever that instance comes in to my mind.

First it looked so artificial. But then I came to know this was a news, and after that I started to get frightened. Lol

Aaaaand, the video is of some movie I got to know. Don't know if it's right. And on YouTube, it's posted as ghosts on Karkarduma court in Delhi also lol.
Dunno about its authenticity, because this is another link to the video:
NEWS: Manchester Poltergeist Caught on CCTV - 1/11/2012 - YouTube
And as the title says, it's from an office in Manchester.

So this might not be supernatural or spooky but my father works in a company as the HR manager (That's not it). There are bound to be labor problems (or rather there are destined to be [frustration]). One fine day, my dad received an SMS message from a worker guy. Can't remember exactly what it was about, but was something like "Sir! Gonna die in the dark!" and nothing else, most probably. Now mind you, the (crappy) mobile phone was showing the saved name of the contact. But later in the day when my father called the guy, he denied sending any such SMS! When my dad hastily checked his inbox, the message was gone! He apologized to the worker, and thought about it for quite a while. Funny part is, I did not get a chance to see that SMS, but my mom did. And she confirmed me that she had saw the message in Baba's inbox(I call my father as "baba"). Can someone shed some light on this?

Thanks.
