DIY Dent Removal and Painting

Dear all

i use esteem vx which was scrached and dented while reversing it now i am removing dent my self and do paint on it my self see pics for update of the process
dent removal done
putty work done
sanding also done
please guide experts

Well, with all due respect, raman, if you are not using a pulling bridge to pull out most of the dents before going to work with the filler, you are not doing the right thing. Filler is great in overseas cars where the metal gauge is thick and doesnt flex. If you do it on the thinner local gauge metal, the filler will crack when the panel flexes such as when someone leans against it and will showup in the paint work as a crease or crack. So, just a suggestion, have a good painting shop do it for you

It is always good to go with the professionals.Do you have all the machines required for filling and polishing? There is also a need for eye for the colour,else that creates a big difference in the outcome.

Hi Raman, along with the pics can you please post some detailed information like how you did it, what all are the tools and other equipments you used?. Then only your DIY can be useful for the fellow members if at all anyone is interested to pull off this complex DIY.

thanks for suggestions but i have started work an also purchased some of the main machines required.
i have firstly pulled dents then applied filler
now surface being made ready for surfacer(primer)
i will buy paint from professionals (may be computer controlled machine)

After block sanding with 220g paper i ll spray surfacer then Paint
then clear coat and buffing at last
keep suggesting

front side bumper and fender complete done
bonet clear coat left
i got 500ml 0f paint+600ml of thinner
500ml of clear+activator total cost 1550/-
