Hello friends,
Yesterday i bought new Bajaj Avenger Street 220 from a dealer in Haryana state and he issued temporary number. Since i am from rajasthan and have ID proof of rajasthan, i have to get it registered with Rajasthan state RTO. Today i checked with a agent in RTO, he told me that i require to pay around Rs. 8500 towards road tax and registration. This is alright. Further he told that i require to pay around Rs. 2500 towards some 'bilty' to commercial tax department also.
Please clear whether i am required to pay this Rs. 2500 ?
